Another of our athletes became the European champion

Azerbaijani para swimmer Veli Israfilov won a gold medal at the European Open Championship held in Madeira, Portugal.

Axar.az reports that our athlete finished first in the 100-meter breaststroke on the third day of the competition.

It should be noted that on the first day of the tournament, our other athlete Raman Saley became the European champion in the 100-meter backstroke, and on the second day, he won a silver medal in the butterfly stroke for the same distance.
