Another of our judoka became the European champion

Azerbaijani judoka Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) won the European Championship held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

Axar.az reports that our representative, who defeated Alex Cretin (Romania) in the semi-finals, also won the decisive match.

This time, E. Hajiyev beat Christian Tot (Hungary).

It should be noted that Balabey Agayev (60 kg) won the silver medal on the first day of the competition. The next day, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) won the gold medal and became the European champion for the fourth time.
