Zidane will light the Olympic torch

Former French national football player Zinedine Zidane will light the Olympic torch in Marseille.

Axar.az reports that the ship carrying the Olympic torch will dock at the port in the evening and the torch will be transferred to land.

Swimmer Floren Manaudu will be the first participant of the Olympic torch relay in France. He will then pass it on to the next unnamed participant. The third torchbearer will be Zinedine Zidane.

It should be noted that the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11.
