The Azerbaijani wrestler became the European champion

Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestler won a gold medal at the U-17 European Championship held in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Axar.az reports that Isa Yusibov (65 kg) had a tense match with Russian Yasin Bersanukayev in the final.

The student of the Ganja wrestling school became the European champion with a 3:1 victory.

In addition, Hajihuseyn Ahmadzadeh (48 kg) and Huseyn Huseynov (55 kg) won bronze medals, and Mukhamad Gantemirov (110 kg) won silver medals.

Thus, freestyle wrestlers won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals on the eve of the last day of the WC.
