Euro-2024: Georgia faces a tough Spanish test

Two more matches of the 1/8 final stage will take place today in the European football championship organized in Germany.

Axar.az reports that first the English and Slovakian teams will face each other.

The English national team advanced to the next round as the leader from Group C. Slovakia won the right to compete in the 1/8 finals by finishing third in Group E. The starting whistle of the match, which will take place in "Feltins Arena" in Helsenkirchen, will be played at 20:00. The chief referee of the game is the Turkish referee Khalil Umid Meler.

The other match of the day will be held in Cologne. The national teams of Spain and Georgia, which will be managed by the French referee Francois Letexien, will clarify relations at the "Rhine Energy" stadium. Spain advanced to the 1/8 finals as the first in Group B. Georgia qualified for the next stage as the third best from group F. This match will start at 23:00.
