Two Azerbaijani athletes in today's Paris Paralympics

Today, two representatives of Azerbaijan will compete in the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.

Axar.az reports that Səid Nəcəfzadə (Najafzadeh), who competes in the T12 category, will participate in the long jump event.

The competition will begin at 12:00 PM Baku time.

Following that, para-swimmer Raman Saley will aim for success. He will demonstrate his skill in the 50-meter freestyle. The qualifying round will start at 12:45 PM.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan currently has 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal. Raman Saley won a silver medal in the 100-meter backstroke. Earlier, Azerbaijani para-taekwondo athlete Imameddin Khalilov (70 kg) won gold, and Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg) claimed a bronze medal.
