Khalilov wins paralympic gold, dedicates to martyrs

Imamaddin Khalilov, a para-taekwondo athlete who won a gold medal at the Summer Paralympic Games held in Paris, France, has dedicated his victory to the families of martyrs.

Axar.az reports that the athlete stated this in an interview with journalists.

He emphasized that he first shared his joy with his family:

"They were extremely happy. After every match, I felt the support of the Azerbaijani people in the comments on social media. This, in turn, gave me additional motivation. In the final, there was no hesitation; I was very confident in myself. I knew I would be the champion."
