Ilham Zakiyev takes third place at Paris paralympics

Azerbaijani para-judo athlete Ilham Zakiyev (J1 category) won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games held in France.

Axar.az reports that the two-time Paralympic champion faced Qanbat Dashtseren (Mongolia) in the match for third place.

Zakiyev defeated his opponent to claim the bronze medal.

It should be noted that the Paralympics will end on September 8.
