The number of followers of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese national team and Al-Nassr club forward, on social media has surpassed 1 billion.

Axar.az reports that the footballer announced this on his Instagram account.

Ronaldo noted that he has over 639 million followers on Instagram, more than 170 million on Facebook, more than 113 million on X (formerly Twitter), over 60.5 million on YouTube, more than 9.3 million on KuaiShou, and over 7.5 million on Weibo.

“We made history – 1 billion followers. This is more than just a number. It is proof of our shared passion and love for the game and beyond. From the streets of Madeira to the world’s biggest stages, I have always played for my family and for you, and now we are 1 billion strong together,” Ronaldo said.
