The main race of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has started in Baku.

Axar.az reports that 11 teams, each represented by two drivers, are competing for the championship.

In the first free practice held on September 13, Brazilian driver Enzo Fittipaldi from the "Van Amersfoort" team finished fastest, while Dutch driver Richard Verschoor from the "Trident" team led the qualifying session.

In yesterday's sprint race, the best result was achieved by Paraguayan driver Joshua Duerksen from the "PHM AIX Racing" team.

The winner of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix held in Baku has been awarded.

Axar.az reports that Richard Verschoor, the driver of the "Trident" team, received the trophy from Mariana Vasileva, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.

Victor Martins from "Art Grand Prix" finished second, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli from "Prema Racing" took third place.
