Tyerri Jakob, the former WBC World Champion in the lightweight boxing category, has passed away.

Axar.az reports that the 59-year-old former boxer, who had been battling lung cancer for a long time, passed away at his home in the city of Calais, France.

It is noted that T. Jacob fought 45 matches during his professional career. He won 39 of them, including 20 by knockout, and lost 6 matches.
