Azerbaijan championship advanced in the world ranking

Azerbaijan championship moved up 4 spots in the world rankings compared to the previous year.

Axar.az reports that the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published a list of the world's top 100 football leagues for 2024.

Our championship has risen to 36th place with a coefficient of 434.25.

With this ranking, our national league is 22nd in Europe and 1st among the former USSR countries.

The Italian Serie A leads the list with a coefficient of 1992, followed by Spain's La Liga in second place (1885), and England's Premier League in third place (1871).
