Turkiye rules out friendly match with Russia in 2025

Turkiye has ruled out the possibility of holding a friendly match with the Russian national team in 2025.

Axar.az reports that the press attaché of the Turkish Football Federation Turker Tozar said the following regarding the issue:

"We do not have a free day to play with Russia this year. We will travel to the USA this summer and we have already announced this. In the fall, there will be only official matches by the international calendar.

Is a match possible next year? Until the calendar is drawn up, we will see. It is better to wait for official dates and announcements, then we can plan opponents for friendly matches."

It should be noted that earlier, RFU President Alexander Dyukov hinted at such a possibility.
