Azerbaijani Paralympic team wins two silver

Azerbaijani swimmer Dzmitry Saley has won silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke event in the 15th Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Dmitry Saley came in second (1:08.80 seconds).


Also, Azerbaijani jumper Elena Chebanu has won silver medal in the long jump finals in the 15th Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.


In the Summer Paralympics, which will last until Sept. 18, Azerbaijan is represented by 24 athletes in judo, athletics, powerlifting, swimming, shooting and archery.


Note that it Azerbaijani Paralympic team has won 8 medals in Rio Paralympic.
