Russian UFC fighter wants to compete in Baku

Russian UFC fighter Yana Santos (Kunitskaya) has expressed her willingness to replace any of the female fighters scheduled for the UFC tournament taking place in Baku on June 21.

Axar.az reports after defeating American Miesha Tate by unanimous decision at a tournament in Iowa, Santos spoke about the possible timing of her next fight:
"To be honest, I would fight — if not in Russia, then at least in Azerbaijan. There are two women's bouts in my weight class there. If someone pulls out, I’ll gladly step in," Sport24 quoted her as saying.

In her MMA career, Yana Santos has had 24 fights and claimed 16 victories.
