To access information related to Iran has become impossible due to the Internet cut off in Iran, where protests have intensified after a 50 percent rise in gasoline prices.

However, the BBC's Persian service broadcast the images on the streets of Iran days later. Images in the capital, Tehran, show that there were riots on the streets and that security forces were severely interfering with the people.
