After the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul received the status of a mosque, the renaming of the historical monument came up.

Axar.az reports that, Turkish Religious Affairs Minister Ali Arbash stated that Hagia Sophia's name will not be changed and her historical name will not be touched.

In addition, Arbash said that a thousand people could be allowed into the Hagia Sophia, which will be opened for worship on July 24, and 2 imams and 4 muezzins will be appointed.
