Aman has slapped French President Emmanuel Macron in the face as he was visiting the southeast of the country.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that a video of the incident has been posted to YouTube and also appeared on Twitter.

Macron was slapped while on a walkabout in the Drôme region of France and two men have been arrested, according to a Reuters report on Tuesday. Video shows a man in a green t-shirt wearing glasses and a face mask shout "Down with Macronia" in French before slapping him

The French president's security team pulled the man who slapped him to the ground and moved Macron away.
