Azerbaijani flag planted on the mountain in Iran -

Against the background of recent tensions in Iranian-Azerbaijani relations, our compatriots in the South have become more active.

Axar.az reports that Iran's rapprochement with Armenia and the transportation of goods to Yerevan via Azerbaijan have caused protests by our compatriots in South Azerbaijan.

In protest of Tehran, one of the political activists planted the Azerbaijani flag on the highest peak in the southern Azerbaijani province of Qalaibar.
