The Israeli air force fired rockets at the T-4 military airfield southeast of Palmyra (240 kilometres from Damascus) on Wednesday.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Al-Hadath TV channel of the United Arab Emirates.
It was reported that the base of Iranian drones was attacked.
As a result, four people from the Iranian-backed group were killed and wounded.
Earlier, a source in the Syrian army told the SANA news agency that Israeli planes had attacked the Al Tanf border area on the southern outskirts of Palmyra. He said one Syrian soldier was killed and three others were wounded in the attack.
On October 8, six Syrian soldiers and 12 Shiite militias were wounded while repelling an Israeli airstrike on the T-4 airfield.
