British automaker Rolls-Royce has introduced a fully electric high-speed aircraft.

Axar.az reports the Spirit of Innovation aircraft set a new world record at 623 kilometres per hour.

The test flight took place on November 16 at the experimental aircraft test site of the British Ministry of Defense.

During the flight, the Spirit of Innovation climbed to an altitude of 3,000 meters in 202 seconds
