Russian helicopters shot down by Ukraine -

Ukraine has released images of a helicopter shot down near Russia's Kiev region.

Axar.az reports that adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashenko said that special police forces are currently searching for the paratroopers in the helicopter.

"The shot down Russian helicopter crashed near Gostomel. The paratroopers fled. Special police forces have launched a search in the area, " Gerashenko said.

Earlier, it was reported that three Russian helicopters flying to Kiev region were shot down.
