Under the command of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, engineering work continues in our territories liberated as a result of the Patriotic War, which ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani Army.

In order to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, units and units of the Engineering Troops of the Azerbaijani Army are clearing the roads of mines and snow, as well as laying new supply roads to the positions of our units located in mountainous and difficult-to-pass areas.

As a result of the activities of engineering and fortification units in our liberated areas, 203 hectares of land were completely cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance in March.

To date, engineering and fortification units have cleared up to 14,600 hectares of land in the liberated areas. In total, more than 6,000 anti-personnel, more than 2,100 anti-tanks,s and more than 9,300 unexploded ordnances were found and destroyed.

The main efforts in mine clearance have focused on settlements, fields, roads, and infrastructure in the liberated areas.

Mines and unexploded ordnance are being found and neutralized in our liberated areas, as well as other necessary measures are being taken to provide engineering.
