The former leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, predicted that by 2024, everyone would forget Ukraine because of the conflict in the Middle East.

Axar.az reports that he said this in the "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" program in 2019.

Zhirinovsky also noted that these events could be a harbinger of the Third World War. He also emphasized the special role of Iran in these events.

It should be recalled that on October 7, Hamas announced the start of the "Aqsa Storm" operation together with "Islamic Jihad" and struck Israel. As a result, more than 700 people died and 2.2 thousand people were injured.
