A series of events related to the 32nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide were held in the troops, units, units, military units, and special purpose educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army, as well as in the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in foreign countries.

At the commemoration ceremonies, the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, and those who died for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as the victims of the Khojaly genocide, were commemorated with a minute's silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played accompanied by a military orchestra.

The speakers talked about how Armenian armed groups destroyed Khojaly city on the night of February 25-26, 1992 with the participation of the 366th regiment of the former Soviet army located in Khankendi. It was noted that 613 people, including 106 women, 63 children, and 70 old people, were killed with special cruelty as a result of the next massacre committed by Armenian aggressors against our people, 1275 civilians were captured, and the fate of 150 people is still unknown.

In the ceremonies held, the victory of the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar in response to the provocations and military aggression of Armenia and the anti-terrorist operation carried out by the Azerbaijani Army were discussed.

Special mention was made of the purposeful activities of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as well as the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, to introduce the Khojaly genocide to the world in a series of events.

Literary and artistic compositions, photo exhibitions, and video clips prepared by the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov were shown at the commemorative events, and the feature-documentary film "13" on the subject of Khojaly disappearances and other films were watched.

Also, military personnel visited Khojaly genocide monuments, lectures on the subject were given in socio-political preparation classes, and meetings were held with witnesses of the tragedy.
