First in Iran: Girls without hijab mourned -

Yesterday, on the occasion of Ashura, a special mourning ceremony was held in Tehran, the first in the history of Iran.

Axar.az reports that video and information about this was spread on local social media channels.

The girls and women who participated in the ceremony without a hijab and in open clothes put chains and mourned.

This is a new type of protest against the government's intervention in the dress style of girls who do not accept the mandatory hijab rules
