Iran has opened the world's largest trade representative office in Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Mehdi Sobhani, Iran's ambassador to Armenia, during the inauguration of the office.

"It should be noted that this is the largest center in the world. This reflects the deep friendship between Iran and Armenia. Trade and economic relations and trade turnover between Armenia and Iran are rapidly increasing. I hope the opening of this trade representative office will boost economic relations, including trade," Sobhani said.

It is worth noting that Armenia's Minister of Economy, Gevork Papoyan, also attended the opening of the center, which covers an area of over 18,000 square meters.
