Joint tactical exercise "AZIREX-2024" will be held with the participation of a group of personnel and ships of the Navy of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The exercises will take place according to the protocol of the meeting of the joint commission on military and military-technical cooperation signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On November 2, personnel and warships of the Azerbaijan Army, which visited the neighboring country to participate in the exercise, arrived at the Anzali sea port.

Two ships of the Azerbaijani Navy and more than 100 personnel will participate in the "Search and rescue at sea" exercise to be held in the part of the Caspian Sea belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
