Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a post on his Facebook page about his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Davos.

Axar.az reports that the Ukrainian leader shared a video from the meeting in his post.

"During the meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, once again expressed condolences on the disaster of the Azerbaijani Airlines plane and the death of people. The evidence from the scene of the disaster is obvious, it is important to pressure Russia to force it to speak the truth.

We also discussed bilateral relations and their future developments: increasing trade between countries in perspective, energy cooperation.

Appreciate all the help of Azerbaijan for Ukraine. Thank you!" - he stated.

It should be noted that the AZAL passenger plane flying on the Baku-Grozny route was attacked by Russia's air defense system in Chechnya on December 25 of last year. As it was not allowed to land, the plane, which was heading towards Kazakhstan, crashed near Aktau airport. As a result of the crash, 38 people were killed, and 29 were injured.
