In the village of Bas Guney in the Aghdara district, local residents have discovered skeletal fragments believed to belong to a human.
Axar.az reports this information was provided by the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service for the cities of Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly.
The relevant authorities have been notified about the discovery. The remains are thought to belong to Asaddin Curu oglu Novruzov and Gurban Ramazan oglu Goyushov. The remains believed to belong to Kurban Goyushov have already been removed and sent for expert examination to confirm the identity. The skeletal remains thought to belong to Asaddin Novruz have not yet been removed from beneath the collapsed house.
It was also mentioned that on April 4, members of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Missing Persons, and Hostages will visit the site to retrieve Asaddin Novruzov’s remains.
The individuals mentioned were martyred on March 12, 1992. The skeletal fragments believed to belong to them were found at their burial site.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by the Agdam District Prosecutor's Office.
