An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck northern Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing Vestikavkaza, the tremors were recorded in the area of Aqqala city, located north of Golestan province.

The earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 22 km.

It should be noted that seismic activity had also been reported earlier in the Caspian Sea.
