Over 330 personnel, 59 vehicles, 23 watercraft, 12 drones, as well as echo sounders, ground-penetrating radars, aviation, and canine units have been mobilized in the search-and-rescue operation for the missing helicopter crew in Kazakhstan.

Axar.az informs that the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan reported this.

The ministry stated that the search has been ongoing for 11 days, with participation not only from defense specialists but also from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other government agencies.

Despite difficult conditions—such as deep silt on the bottom, zero visibility underwater, and unpredictable weather—the operation continues without pause.

Search efforts will persist until the fate of the crew and the cause of the incident are determined.

It should be noted that on July 25, an EC-145 helicopter belonging to Kazakhstan’s Air Defense Forces went off radar during a planned flight in the Almaty region.
