Forest fire prompts evacuation in Turkiye’s Karabu

Forest fires have broken out near the village of Yaşılköy in Turkiye’s Karabük province.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Turkish media.

Due to the incident, residents of Yaşılköy have been evacuated.

Currently, firefighting efforts are underway from both air and land with 21 vehicles, 5 helicopters, 1 plane, and 511 personnel.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
