14 arrested in Istanbul corruption probe

Another anti-corruption operation has been carried out at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).

Axar.az informs Turkish media reported as part of the operations conducted by the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office, arrest warrants were issued for 14 individuals.

Among them are the ex-wife and son of Taner Çetin, head of the IMM’s Press and Public Relations Department, as well as owners and employees of various advertising companies.

The individuals in question are accused of “membership in an organization,” “tender fraud,” “accepting bribes,” and “fraud.”
