Clashes have erupted between government opponents and supporters in Serbia.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Associated Press (AP).

During the clashes, dozens of people were injured, including 16 police officers.

The shootings initially took place in Vrbas, in the northwest of the capital, Belgrade. Similar incidents were also recorded at protests held in other regions of the country.

It should be noted that protests in Serbia, led by students, began for the first time in November in Novi Sad after the collapse of a train station roof, which killed 16 people, and amid allegations of corruption in state infrastructure projects.
