Agricultural products exported from Armenia to Russia have been returned.

Axar.az reports Armenian Member of Parliament Garnik Danielyan shared this information on his social media account.

Danielyan stated that trucks carrying agricultural products exported to Russia via Georgia are returning to Armenia. Drivers reported that the border was closed due to “phytosanitary issues.”

He also noted that other cargo, particularly trucks carrying construction materials, is subject to strict inspections.

Danielyan emphasized that the government has not reacted adequately to the situation, which he described as not only an economic issue but also a political one.
