US pushes EU to ditch Russian energy

The United States believes that EU countries should completely move away from Russian energy and switch to American oil and LNG to stop importing both liquefied natural gas from Russia and Indian and Turkish oil products made from Russian raw materials.

Axar.az reports that US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said this.

It should be noted that in July, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen promised US President Donald Trump that the EU would completely ban imports of Russian energy resources and purchase $750 billion worth of American oil, gas, nuclear equipment, and fuel, as well as invest $600 billion in the US economy.
