Azerbaijan joins NATO-Turkiye "Nusret-2025" naval exercise

Hosted by Turkiye, the "Nusret-2025 Invitational Exercise" is being held with the participation of NATO and Turkish naval and air forces, relevant units of the Coast Guard Command, as well as observers from various countries.

Axar.az informs that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informed about this.

A group of military personnel of the Azerbaijani Army is participating in the international exercise held in the Saros Gulf.

The exercise aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the participating units and commands in the field of planning, implementation, and assessment of mine warfare, as well as to develop cooperation and joint action capabilities between the Turkish Navy and the naval forces of friendly and allied countries.

It should be noted that, in addition to Azerbaijan, a total of 44 people from the USA, UAE, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Indonesia, South Africa, the Netherlands, Kenya, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Oman are participating in the international exercise.
