Over 100 investigators probe Louvre heist in Paris

More than 100 investigators are examining the Louvre robbery in Paris and studying the escape route of the criminals.

Axar.az reports that Paris prosecutor Laura Becco provided the information.

Becco stated that the number of investigators has increased from around 60 to over 100, adding that the resources allocated to the case are ten times greater than those for an ordinary investigation:

“More than 150 DNA samples, fingerprints, and other relevant materials have been collected from the scene. Investigators are also analyzing videos taken by witnesses and surveillance footage along the criminals’ escape route to determine where they may be hiding,” she said.

It should be noted that on October 19, the Louvre Museum was robbed, and nine items were stolen from the jewelry collection belonging to Emperor Napoleon III.
