Germany close the largest Ukrainian Refugee Center

Germany has decided to close the largest center for Ukrainian refugees in Berlin, located on the territory of the former Tegel airport.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that the authorities plan to turn it into a district.

It was reported that the decision was due to a decrease in the number of newly arrived Ukrainians.

In the last weeks of summer, Ukrainians began to be actively transferred to other shelters in Berlin, and the goal is to empty the center by the end of the year.
