Romania buys 18 F-16 jets from Netherlands for €1

Romania has signed a contract with the Netherlands to purchase 18 F-16 Fighting Falcon military aircraft.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by Romanian Defense Minister Ionus Musteanu.

“The purchase was made for a symbolic price of 1 euro. These aircraft will be used only at the European F-16 Training Center in Feteshti,” the minister noted.
