Russian forces make no progress, suffer heavy losses in Sumy

The Russian army has made no progress in key front-line areas and is suffering heavy losses in the Sumy region.

Axar.az informs that this is noted in a report by the US Institute for the Study of War.

The report states that Russian forces continued offensive operations in northern Sumy but were unable to advance.

“In the Sum direction, near Bezsalovka, the Russians are suffering heavy losses due to high desertion rates and a lack of necessary training, communication, and radio links,” the Institute cited Russian military correspondents as saying.

The report adds that attacks by Ukrainian drones are making it difficult for Russian forces to increase their supplies.
