UK sends military experts to Belgium over drone incidents

The United Kingdom has sent military experts and equipment to Belgium in response to recent drone incidents at airports and military bases.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the BBC, citing the UK Armed Forces Chief Richard Naylor.

“It is not yet clear who is behind the drones, but Russia has engaged in hybrid warfare activities in recent years. Moscow, however, strongly denies any connection to these incidents,” Naylor said.

It is noted that in recent days, drones have been observed over airports in Brussels and Liège in eastern Belgium, causing some flights to be diverted to other cities and others to be delayed.
