Energoatom suspects lose Ukrainian citizenship

The main figures in the Energoatom corruption scandal - Timur Mindich and Alexander Tsukerman - have already been deprived of Ukrainian citizenship.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"Mindich and Tsukerman were deprived of Ukrainian citizenship because there is no decree number on the website of Vladimir Zelensky.

The document imposing sanctions against Mindich and Zukerman is numbered 843, while the previous document is numbered 841. Decrees on the revocation of citizenship are usually not published, since they contain personal information.

Zheleznyak also noted that both individuals are in Israel, in Tel Aviv, and are citizens of the country in question.

It should be noted that Timur Mindich, a close friend and business partner of Zelensky, is accused of organizing a $ 100 million bribery scheme.
