Beckham reveals his biggest regret after retirement

Former England national team captain David Beckham has spoken about a regret from his career.

Axar.az reports that Beckham said that the fame he gained after retiring did not replace the excitement he felt while playing football, adding that he still misses those moments greatly:

“When you go through any important stage of your life, it can sometimes be difficult to fully understand everything at that moment.

I miss my playing days very much, and I don’t think I realized back then how difficult it would be once everything was over. If I could change one thing, I would advise my younger self to appreciate every moment.”

It should be noted that Beckham’s career is one of the brightest in England’s football history. After winning numerous titles with Manchester United, he went on to play for Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, Milan, and PSG, fully retiring in 2013. He is currently a co-owner of MLS club Inter Miami and has achieved significant commercial success as one of the world’s most recognizable figures.
