Lukashenko pardons 31 Ukrainians as goodwill gesture

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has pardoned 31 Ukrainian citizens who were in prison.

Axar.az informs that Belta reported this.

“As a continuation of the agreements reached between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and US President Donald Trump, at the request of the Ukrainian side, guided by the principles of goodwill and humanism, the President pardoned 31 Ukrainian citizens who committed crimes in Belarus, to ensure the conditions for the resolution of the armed conflict in the neighboring country,” Lukashenko’s press secretary Natalya Eismont said.
