128 dead: Hong Kong announces mourning period

A three-day mourning period has been declared in Hong Kong following the fire that killed 128 people.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the city administration.

It was announced that from November 29 to December 1, flags on all government buildings will be flown at half-mast.

Officials will not attend public events during the mourning days.

All entertainment programs organized or supported by the government have either been canceled or postponed. Special areas have been designated across all districts for citizens to leave condolence messages, and several memorial events have been planned.
