Technical problem grounded Pope Leo XIV’s aircraft

A problem has been detected on the Airbus A320 aircraft belonging to ITA Airways, which transported Pope Leo XIV to Turkiye.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the press service of the Holy See.

It was noted that due to the identified issue, the aircraft will undergo modification:

“The necessary part, the monitor, is already being sent from Rome.”

It should be mentioned that the Pope arrived in Turkiye on November 27 and is scheduled to travel from Turkiye to Lebanon on November 30 with the same aircraft.
