Heathrow theft incident leaves 21 injured, including child

Twenty-one people sought medical help after being injured in a theft incident at London’s Heathrow Airport.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, that pepper spray was used during the suitcase theft at the airport.

According to police, a three-year-old girl is among the injured. Five people were taken to the hospital for further examination. Their lives are not in danger.

According to the information, a group of four men stole a woman’s suitcase. The incident occurred in an elevator at the airport’s car park, and people inside and around the elevator were injured.

Police are investigating the incident. A 31-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of involvement in the crime.
