Officer killed in Istanbul drug raid, shooter neutralized

In Istanbul, during an operation against drug traffickers, police came under gunfire.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that a police officer, Emre Albayrak, was seriously injured and later died.

The 35-year-old suspect, R.A., who shot the officer, was neutralized.

Several other individuals were also detained as suspects during the operation.
